Would optic fibre lighting be enough to light my shower room? It is quite possible to implement the whole lighting solution of the shower room with fibre optics. It is important to understand that more light is generally needed in the shower room than in the sauna. In this case, it would be best to select slightly heavier ø 3-6 mm fibres and a more powerful 75W projector.

Is one fibre enough to light the bucket? One heavy fibre alone is enough to light it. A more even end result can be reached by using two.
What if, the light switches off and then on after a short while. What's the problem? It is likely that the projector has been installed into a space that is either too small or too hot. Alternatively, it has been installed up-side-down in the ceiling. Both installations are against the installation instructions of the product and cause the thermal fuse in the projector to switch off. Once the projector has cooled down, it switches on again.
